Alright, I have two monitors, a desktop, a laptop, and a tv all side by side. I have desktop connected to monitor 1 and using tv out to the tv. I have laptop and monitor 2 chillin. Should I pick up a PCI vid card and do dual monitors for my desktop? Or plug the lappy into the monitor?

What you should do is get an entertainment center to put the TV in and not try and stack every one of your posessions on the same desk.

Get another damn desk. How you can stack two monitors, a tower, a TV, and a laptop on the same one is mindboggling.

Damnit people, it's not all on the same desk. You want to address the question rather then make useless idiotic comments?

I have a desk with my primary computer/moniter. Next to that on the other wall on a shelf the tv. the laptop is anywhere and the space for the other monitor is undecided at this time but I have plenty of room.

You may want to describe your layout better than "side by side" since most people have one desk. Idiot.

That being said, yes, run dualhead off your primary rig. Your laptop has a good enough screen already, and the whole point of a mobile computer is to cut the desktop leash.

To answer your question, I would like the dual monitors unless you also do work on your laptop that you absolutely do not like to work with the lcd screen.

What does my layout have to do with the question? Absolutely nothing, idiot. Even if i stacked everything right on top of each other it's still irrelevant.

And the laptop won't be used for mobile, i've already got another one for that. It's going to be used as kind of a download/working computer to do numerous tasks that will free up the tasks off my desktop.
