Whats My 2nd LAN for?

My mobo Asus P5Q Deluxe has two LAN ports and not sure how to use two..

I just orgered a Linksys gigbyte Switch to add to my Linksys Router and I was wondering if this could be used 2nd LAN some how..

No, not really. It's good for when your first NIC fails and you need to use a second one.

There's really no way to take advantage of dual NICs on consumer level gear.

I use the second NIC in my tower to transfer files to my non-N laptops. Or to share my internet connection via bridging when LANning with friends (before I got a gigabit switch).
