What's more powerful than the Swiffer Sweeper+Vac

This is, honestly, a fairly bad ass cleaner. It lets me do a quick once-over in the kitchen before Mrs comes home and I get in trouble. Beats the sh*t out of a broom and pics up some dust.

My only problem is its suction is just not good. That's what all the reviewers say, too. I've thought of throwing more batteries even into the thing and pimping it out but that sounds like effort. I'd be willing to pay more for an upgraded one. Are there any competitors that are similar in size (can stash quickly and it's cordless) but suck more?

Do they have a really small one that is cordless and upright like this? If they do, is it like $500? I know one day we may own a Dyson, when the kids are grown and we have saved up a few years!
