What's more important memory timings or bandwidth for OCing?

I always see emphasis on both of these when it comes to memory , but I have no clear idea of what is better in terms of Overclocking. anyone care to share their opinion on this?

if you had a choice between a slower stick with more b/w or a faster stick with less b/w which would you pick?

personally more bandwidth, ddr400 CL2.5 will run as ddr333 CL2 if down clocked, but it depends a lot on what you're wanting to do with the machine and what proc you will be using on which way you want to go.

Bandwidth... Never sacrifice bandwidth for tighter timings. Some apps run quicker with the tight timings. All apps will run quicker with increased bandwidth, so you end up with better performance across the board.
