What's more difficult, assembling a PC, or your average Lego model?

Neither are that hard, I voted for the Computer though since things don't always fit as nicely as legos do...

i'm currently doing both, I'm bulding a lego case for a computer, and it's gonna have LED fans, and a black light in it with a window.

Legos are more difficult. You can loose so many peices and each peice can fit anywhere, where as most computer parts have a Square peg/Square hole kinda fit.

Computers are much easier. Aside from switch or jumper settings, computers only go together one way. There are almost an infinite number of ways Legos can go together, including lots of ways that don't make any sense.

Of course, if you buy a cheap case with poorly finished edges, you may cut your hands more often working on the computer.

Yeah, and they can kill your fingers. I'm surprised they haven't left scars.

That's my thinking exactly. I'm good with both.

Computer definitely, not that it's hard at all for me.

With Legos, you get an exact step-by-step instruction sheet complete with intermediate pictures. All piecies have been 100% tested to fit together and function exactly as intended.

With Computers, you get a manual translated from chinese, with schematics that mean almost nothing. All pieces come from different vendors and nothing is 100% tested to work together. Different motherboards fit different cases, require different power supplies, support different cpu's and memory. Clips, snaps, pins, screws don't always fit. Everything either needs jumpered or configured. Parts don't always work when you get them, then you have to troubleshoot which part is stopping post. Then once you have a successful CMOS test, you have to pick out your flavor of OS... and that's a whole'nother world...

Now I have nostalgia for my old lego set... little brother, oh why did you have to lose all my good pieces...

SagaLore -- I'm not going to quote your whole post, but it sounds like you've been spending too much time, and not enough money, on the components in your computer. There are stanadards for the size, shape and function of all cards. Some vendors, especially those who try to put out cheap products, don't always follow them exactly.

Stick with quality components, and you'll have more time for your Legos. :)

I like it. May have to give that a try when I have enough time to blow off in the attempt. :)
