just as a heads up, but this is a bit off-topic, the 600m's are kinda flimsy, yes despite teh metal casing, my friend ahs one and it flexes pretty easily when you grab it with your hands, the screen half. so just dont plan on dropping it in a backpack or something nonchalantly

Thanks for the heads up. I don't plan on abusing it at all, I'll be getting a backpack with a padded liner compartment. Also I've heard avoiding moving it with the screen by only moving it with the base should alleviate these problems. A T40 would be nice, but not on a student's budget unfortunately.
