I've been out of IT Security for a couple years now and am working to get back onto track. Most of the IT Security guys I know carry around their nifty toolbox of networking tools for various tasks:
- network capture (Wireshark)
- network scanners (Nessus, nmap etc.), application scanners
- AV/malware scanners
- data forensics tools and log analyzers
... etc.
Do you have a good list of security tool that you have and care to share?
