have a PIII 700 Cco, I'm using an Iwill slot adapter to a MSI 6163 pro M/B, I'm using 2-128mb PC150 ram, SCSI hard drive with Adaptec 2940 adapter, and my graphics card is a OEM Creative Geforce GTS. I'm water cooling the CPU and have installed a Tenamax BGA cooler on the BX chip.
My problem is I can post up to 150fsb and start to load windows then freezes, I can boot in to windows safe mode up to 133fsb but If I try and run windows normal I get a "windows protection error" I can run windows with RC5 and Seti running all day long at 126fsb but Can only loop Q3A demos for about 30 mins and play Alice for about 10 mins. If I drop down to 122fsb everything works fine. So I'm thinking My Video card is holding me back but then why does it work for ~30 mins? Do I just need better cooling on the video card? and How come I'm getting "windows protection errors"?

Any help or ideas would be appreciated

P.S I posted this earlier but can't find it anywhere :(

I would think that it's your SCSI card and hard drive that are causing problems. SCSI components have a reputation for not liking non-standard PCI bus speeds. Generally, they choke at PCI speeds of over 37MHz or so.

I overclocked my P3-750 to 900mhz last night using 120mhz FSB setting. I have an Adaptec 2940UW PCI card. So far it has been stable while running 3dmark a few times. I know my ram will go 133+, and the MB is fine, but the proc won't post at FSB speeds greater than 120mhz. So I guess I'm stuck at 900. Good thing is it stays at about 90 deg F even while running terrain maps on Q3A TeamArena, with a crappy twin-fan HSF from Fry's.

I also have a 900mhz Athlon TBird that I'm going to try and get to 1.1ghz tonight.
