Good scores for your setup or in general?

EDIT: Your not gonna attain a accurate result with 3DMark03 with a GF2 MX. 3DMark03 is mainly a DirectX 9 benchmark which is aimed towards graphics cards with DirectX 9 support.

e.g. Geforce FX 5700 Ultra, Radeon 9500 Pro, etc.

well.. i'm running a 9800pro (no comparsion here of course) and i get 14000s without any tuning or overclocking of neither the card or my cpu. i have a p4 2.4c and a 1gig dual channel 400mhzram tho :)

even with a old radeon 7000 in one of my old computers i got 3-4k... so i think you should be getting more than that. just look at other people with the same video card and see how you compare.

with a score of 2000 something, u probably have a hard time playing CS, lol :p

I dont play CS but I play TO with low settings in 640x480 and I have tried FO but even on 640x480 it is really hard. Oh and on 3dmark03 I could only run one of the tests and I got a total score of 81.

hmm...i'm not sure i'd even try benchmarking unless i had a really fast gaming system. have you thought about upgrading your video card to something like a geforce4 ti? you'll at least be able to play your current games at a higher resolution.

GF2 MX is a DX7 card which means that DX8 and DX9 features will be rendered by the CPU (SLOW) or not rendered at all. If I remember correct cards below GF3 including GF4 MX line doesn't have any shader units which renders them horribly slow in any program requiring these, and that includes 3Dmark01 (PS 1.x, DX8) and 3Dmark03 (PS 1.x + PS 2.0 DX9).

ROFL, the GF2 MX was a budget card 4 years ago. Benching current software on it is like racing a pinto in the daytona 500. You have the ddr version at least right? cuz the sdr mx's were anemic performers even when they were released...

Which bench did it run in 3dmark03? The sound test? :)

Yea, uhhh.. I wouldn't be too concern about trying to benchmark your system, it is very antiquated now.
Now, if you upgraded your video card to at least a 5700Ultra / 9600 Pro or higher, then you'll see a dramatic increase in your benchmarks and gameplay. But, I mean it depends on what kind of money you have to spend on a new card or system.
My specs:
AMD XP 1600+ (not OC'ed)
512 DDR PC2100
Epox 8KHA+
GF4 Ti4200
Win2k
3dMark01: 10265

I get in the 8000-9000 range with the system labelled Moobox in my signature. Actually, at the time I ran the benchmark I only had 512MB of memory and a TBird 1GHz@1.2GHz

What makes 2k1 so great is that assuming you're not GPU bottlenecked, CPU/Memory performance means a heck of a lot.

All with 9800Pro @ 423/369, NF7-S 2.0, Mobile 2600+

217 x 11.5 (2.5GHz)
19,350's

218 x 11 (2.39GHz)
19,000's

218 x 8.5 (1.85GHz)
16,500's

133 x 13.5 (1.80GHz)
14,000's

Yeah it was the airplane one that ran. I am getting a new system as soon as I decide between the 6800gt or the x800pro.

See my sig, but add like 100-150 to each of those, I did a little tweaking as to which programs run behind my back ;) And I found some sneaky memory hogs
