This is really strange, I start up my computer the other day and it's trys searching for drivers for my tuner. So I send it to the folder with the tuner drivers and it won't take them. I grab the original driver disk and it won't take them. download newest(you know the drill) nothing, nada.
Anyways I had just done a BF2 patch, thinking that may have been an issue I do a sys restore, still no luck. So I pull the Winfast tuner out of my sons comp and put it in mine it works fine, i put my card in his and it starts searching for drivers.
So I'm at work a couple of days later and a friend of mine says his winfast TV tuner had just crapped out on him(BF2 player as well) We bought are cards about the same time( little over a year ago) I'm thinking thats odd same problem can't find drivers.
So I come home tonight wake my comp from standby ran windows update downloaded a couple of security items reboot and now the one from my sons comp that has been working fine in my comp for about 5 days craps out.
Anyone run into this? Seems like when hardware goes bad it just stops working it doesn't ask for drivers. Help me out here.
