What's going on with memory prices?

I havent checked them in a while but I am thinking about upgrading now. They seem a lot higher than the last time I checked a few months ago. Is that right? Is $250 worth it for 2GB OCZ EL Platinum 3200?

Only you can decide if it's worth it or not.

If you aren't o/c'ing it's definitely not worth it. If you are then there are cheaper alternatives.

What do you mean if you're not overclocking? From benchmarks I've seen, the OCZ Platinum should give you 10% faster fps in games for only about $40 more for 2GB compared to other 2GB kits with lower latencies. Whatever, that's my way of looking at it.
