Where do you see a reference to a bus blowing up? So far the NYPD is saying this isn't a terrorist event, a steam leak caused a transformer to cook off.

At my first house we had a transformer vault in our front yard, I was there when that thing cooked off. You'd think a car bomb went off outside. Given they know what blew, what they think caused it, and no-one was hurt sounds like an accident (they do happen).

I work in 150 E 42nd street on 42nd and Lex. All of the sudden we heard a roar and thought initially it was thunder. Then we looked down and saw that crap was flying up from the street going 30-40' in the air. Since we are on the 30th floor a group of us busted ass to the elevator , got down, and went down 42nd going E. We learned it wasn't anything huge, but I walked from 2nd and 40th all of the way to 65th and west end in 45min to get home.

Talk about being scared crapless.
