What's faster ...

Probably the dell. How much memory and what video card does the dell have ?

and does the dell have an agp slot, and what video card do you have ?

i say keep the dell case and sell the motherboard processor and ram on ebay... and buy a new motherboard and processor and get some newer/faster ram and have a decent PC.. DULL Componets suck... I know it will take time and a little money but in the end you will have a much better PC.. with Overclocking and newer things like PCI-e.... thats just my two cents''

The 2800mhz P4 is faster then the 2100+ Athlon XP, but without knowing more about the two systems, its impossible to tell which is the better machine.

even w/o hyperthreading and dual-channel, the P4 2.8 still beats the 2100+ out of the water.

Well, if the dell doesn't have an AGP slot then I'd hardly call it the "better system"--if it does then I'd say that there's no way the AXP you have can get even close to it.
