DES is another encryption algorithm, that we're not currently cracking. But it's easier to crack, I think. :)

Prime95, more properly called GIMPS, is searching for large (over 1,000,000 decimal digit) Mersenne prime numbers. It's at http://www.mersenne.org/prime.htm if you want to take a look.

Ya, DES-II was nothing more than Dnet's 2nd DES cracking contest, in which DES was done to be extremely short term. It's long over(we can now crack it in under 24hrs), so while the clients mention it, they don't have DES cores anymore, so it's not an issue now.:)
