Compare it to a defecating dog. You have to take the dog out multiple times per day and handle each poop yourself. The urine can also kill the grass.

Cats make you bend down to clean up their stinky litter box with that little shovel. Dog has the common decency to go outside. Poops can easily be cleaned up with a snow shovel, by tossing it over the fence and making it the mall's problem.

I can't tell you how many problems cats have brought because of them being very messy if you don't watch them properly.

They pee all over the floor and scratch pretty much anything they can get their hands on...

I've never had a cat pee anywhere except the litter box.

Maybe that's only male cats that aren't neutered...?

Back when I was getting laid, I never gave a shit about cats.

The worst thing about dogs is dog owners. They're almost all complete morons and completely neglectful after the "honeymoon" period is over.

Cats, at least, are generally capable of being independent when their owners don't give a shit.
