What's considered a "dangerous" temperature for a Celeron 500MHz?

A friend of mine has a Celeron 500MHz that runs at around 35C.. How much can one of these take?

The gate oxide will degrade at around 90C

Safe to keep it under 60C.

I mostly concur with IaPup - although oxide degradation occurs at all temperatures to some extent. PMOS BTI is the worry nowadays at high temperatures, although hot-E increases with higher temperature. Keep it below 70C and it will be fine. I consider the danger zone to be anything above 80C.

The lower the better, of course. .
