There is a flash of light that occurs frequently at the bottom of the screen in the taskbar of my friend's netbook (Toshiba NB205-N313/P) around the icon for the Kindle app.
I had her take a video of it, and it occurs at 0:03 and 0:04 in this video:

This does NOT, however, occur when she is in the BIOS, which implies to me that it's NOT the LCD screen failing.
She also said it only occurs when she goes to websites that have a lot of data to download. It does not occur when she is in her gmail account, for example.
Is this a video driver issue?
Is it a virus/malware? If so, which one and how do I remove it?
If not, what do you think it is?
