What's causing the white dots on seams in my games?

In most of the games that I play, HL series, Serious Sam, Midtown Madness 2, I see little white dots where different graphic planes come together. It's not on every seam but it is on some of them and it does it in all the games mentioned above. I have tried many different drivers for my gforce 2 ultra and I am currently using 12.40. It has done it on all drivers. It's not that bad but hey, I am at work and why not ask the question. Someone may have a fix for me.

You can see my specs at Brian's Box.

If I got what you're saying right, this is something i've noticed ever since my days with a voodoo2.

That was a long time ago and frame rates have quadrupled since then, but this problems still around. I think thats pretty sad, but i also think it looks like the graphics card market is starting to stop caring about speed now, since the cards are so fast, and are starting to aim for quality a bit more.

You should only be worried if you see white dots on the textures. That indicates that you're either overclocking your card too much or it's defective. Othwerwise don't worry about it.
