what's better to overclock the vid card?

havent kept up with video technology lately.
as the title says, what's the better way to OC the vid card? Rivatuner 2.04 or nTune?

I have a
EVGA 8800 GTS 640 MB
Q6600 @ 3.2 GHz
Abit IP35-E
2 GB Ballistix DDR2 800

btw, Im getting 8983 in 3dmark06 (3619 SM2, 3222 HDR, 5040 CPU). Is that a normal score for my setup? Honestly, I was expecting better.

any reason why riva is better? or is that just common knowledge? my last vid card was the 6800 vanilla and when that came out nvidia's software wasnt too good. thats why i went with riva back then. im just trying to find out if the same holds true now or has the tide turned?

The thing is...the latest ForceWare drivers don't link the shader speed with the core speed. Rivatuner 2.05 makes it easy to overclock with the new drivers.

Ntune is way too problematic and resource intensive, Riva 2.05 is by far the best tool for your 8800- reason being better temp monitoring, shader clock adjustment, profiles etc the list goes on.
