lol would never trust that thing as a climbing anchor. Especially if it's made in China.

Beyond that, maintenance must be a bitch if you're doing a lot of digging, and that whole using it as a grapple thing is a joke. Exactly when in combat are you going to be in a position to deploy it like that? Let alone while driving lol.

Oh, and I loved how when he was tightening the wire he put his hand squarely on the blade. WTG smart guy.

I was thinking the same thing. In one of the shots though, there seems to be a detachable guard or something.

I may be wong though;)

I imagine if it's Chinese army issue that it's made to higher standard than 10 cent toy plastic punch-out exports :p

Still corrupt as hell. I'm pretty sure corners will be cut, especially in a mass product like that. Then again this is China. Government probably has a "do it right or you disappear" policy for military equipment. :p

LOL@ shield, grapple, bottle opener, and paddle

edit: I guess it's perfect for when the soldiers get stuck up shit creek without a paddle.

Lot of things they should could be done with a normal shovel but there's a few neat things. Ugh, I dunno about relying on it for a climbing anchor/grapping hook though, yikes. The slicing/chopping is pretty cool, and sawing, but I would think they would get dull pretty quick if you were doing a lot of digging. Interesting idea though.

Was gonna start a separate thread. but i am currently looking for a military grade folding blade. Preferably in cam or non reflective colours. Any ideas?
