whats better than a 1600sw SGI ?

Is there a better digital monitor for the money than this one? What do you think of the samsung 170T?

I have not seen any review that compares a monitor favorably to the sgi, but I believe sgi is about to introduce a new model (they say that the price on the 1600 sw is "For a limited time only" which generally means they are ending production of it) so I would like to see a comparison of it vs. the new model before shelling out $1300 for either one.
