what's better on the eyes: using 17 inch crt monitor or 15 inch tv?

i think it would be the monitor but i need an extra nudge from you folks to convince me to get a tv card.

Just get the tv card... I've had my Hauppage WinTV (bt878) since 1999 or so, and it still works great. They're not *that* expensive..

i already have those 10 year old 15 inch tv...but yeah i think ill shell out some money on that tv card from newegg
