I wanna get new ram--- see the kingston ram thread i made...but now that ram is 50 bucks it went up...so i can get geil or ocz for same price...which 1 is better?

id get ocz from svc or geil from newegg...geil is a few bucks cheaper but ill get whichever 1 is better

also im gettin that mitsuku blue keyboard & mouse for 30...any1 have that? how is it?

What mobo? Certain mobos have problems with Winbond CH-5 chips. Not sure if OCZ uses them or not, but it's something to consider. GeIL makes their own chips. Also, do you plan to OC with it or not? I just ordered some GeIL because of the price, but given other choices that cost more I'm not sure I'd still go with GeIL if I had the money and planned to OC...

MSI K7N2-ISLR

what would be best for this?

i want a pc3200 256mb chip for 50 bucks give or take 5

just spent 300 on new case, mobo and cpu...dunno if i wanna spend another 150 on keyboard, ram

I won't buy OCZ on principle. To many scams for too long, if they have indeed turned over a new leaf so to speak, good for them. I'll still opt to not buy from them for a while.

Geil is pretty good stuff, very nice for the price. Overclocking is somewhat hit and miss, but typically decent.

I just RMA'd a stick of GEIL 3200 CL2 because it would only actually work at 2700. I ordered a stick of Corsair to avoid any more potential hassle. That's just my experience, though.

Yea, i was seriously considering Geil, but I read about it and I picked up Corsair to prevent a future headache.
