I'm looking to upgrade just my AGP video card. Any recommendations? I found a 9600xt for $56 after rebate. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102043
X1550 for $68 after rebate http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102081

I currently have an Nvidia 6200 128mb, Athlon 64 3400+, 2 sticks 512mb ram (1gb total) Pc3200

I don't want to do a total upgrade. Can't really get a better CPU on the board only goes to 3700+. Could go to 2gb but I probably won't. (Only 3 slots on this board)

why not buy a mid range card like X850 Pro? and you can mod X850 Pro into X850 XT

I wasn't so lucky on my x850 Pro. Still a nice improvement over my 9700 Pro for gaming. I'd recommend socking the money away for a future upgrade of core components and sell what you have to a friend.

$75 is my max budget. What cards would be better than my 6200 and still in my budget?

That X1550 you mentioned looks like the only thing you could get for less than $75 that's half-decent.

X1650 should be better easily - AFAIK the X1550 has 4 shaders, and the X1650 (in pro form) has 12 shaders, so that's where the extra performance figures you mention come from.
