Depends on the games.. I may be wrong but arent Vantas 64bit also?

I'd say the TNT will give better performance, slap a fan on it, and O/C that mofo.

I wasn't aware that you could get a TNT2 with 8 megs of ram. Are you sure that it really is a TNT2?

given the choice of those 2, I would go with the TNT.

TNT with 16MB is about 15% faster than the 8MB TNT2 from the OpenGL and D3D games I was playing.

You should forget the TNT/TNT2 series, nvidia's detonator 2 & up drivers were mainly designed for the geforce & up cards, even though they support the TNT series, they don't lugs nut about the TNT chipset anymore, makes me mad for buying a TNT2 ultra for $162 back in march, if you want a cheap videocard, mwave sells a diamond sealth 3 32mb oem for $58 or a Matrox millennium G200 8mb for $59, funny how the 8meg card is worth more. anymore remember the name of the guy from the turks that likes aeris from final fantasy 7? reno? no.. hmmm.. someones name here seems familiar.

There is nothing wrong with Det 2. They will probably be the last decent driver set for TNT chips, but they cant get much better, only updates to the driver would be to support next generation software, which isnt much of a good idea, since current software pretty well maxes the TNT TNT/2 chip.

Believe it or not Detonator (latest one) actually increased my 3dMark 2000 by 100. Now i have Radeon, but TNT sure was fast for an old old video card (im selling mine by the way )
