I am looking for a good looking gaming PC case that will house this system:

Athlon 64 3800+ Venice @ 2.4GHz
Nvidia Geforce 7600GT KO 256MB
PC-3200 2x1024MB XMS C2
EPoX nForce4 Ultra (939) EP-9NPA+Ultra
Barracuda 7200.10, 320GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s
Fortron Source 450W Power Supply - 12cm FAN, 20+4 Pin, PCI Express
Viewsonic Black 19" 8ms LCD Monitor, Built in Speakers
Logitech MX518 -2-Tone 8 Buttons 1x Wheel USB (Mouse)
Logitech Ultra X, 2-Tone 104 Normal Keys 6 Function Keys PS/2

The PC isn?t for me. I am making up several builds to sell on ebay. Basically - all I need is a case that looks good to the general gamer. I will give the buyer several selections to choose from, but I want to narrow it down for them between like 10 cases. What?s a good ATX case under 85 dollars?

You better have some damn good feedback. And even if you do, you won't make a living out of this. You'll have some very tough competition.

I have 130 postive ebay feedbacks, zero negitive. And I am offering a solid PC for about 30-40% cheaper than "competitiors" like dell/alienware. I am doing this on the side for some extra $.

How do you expect to pay retail plus shipping and find buyers willing to pay enough of a premium plus more shipping and still make a profit after eBay and PayPal fees? Maybe you should just start with one to see how it goes

I went with a Centurion 5 myself. It comes stock with a 120MM exhaust, and 80mm intake, however it was quite easy adding another 120MM intake in the 5 inch bays up top. 50 bucks well spent...

Centurion 5 is decent but It's like the Antec SLK3000B. Too popular and not super good.

How about Antec's P-160. Has that gone down in price yet? I picked mien up for $90 last year...

If by awesome you mean flamboyant (not there's anything wrong with that), yeah. Maybe they will appeal to the target buyer though.

I like the Centurion a lot as well. Very reasonably priced, well designed, and visually appealing to a broad group of people.

I agree with some others, however, that making any money from this sounds nearly impossible. Dell's prices are ridiculously low and the advantages of a custom-built PC over a Dell (better expandibility, better tuning, better cooling, less bloatware, better OS configuration) are not really that obvious to non-technical users.

See the Rosewill thread in Cases & Cooling (which is where this thread belongs, BTW).

The NZXT Apollo is basically the CM Centurion chassis with blingy plastic. Lots of cases based on that same chassis like the Kingwin 523.
