Hmm, the IR receiver, external floppy drive and stick+throttle combo probably are the rarer things attached to my computer. Oh, and the firewire cf card reader too.
The separate num pad probably also falls into that category. Moreso because it's a Luxeed.

Except for the num pad I only rarely use the others though.

USB to sata drive converter - allows me to plug in any 3.5 and 2.5 drive into the stand vertically and then access the disk. Over USB 3.0 its near native speed and its a very quick way to repair or check disks or just load up a disk with a tonne of data without opening up the case.

Headphone amplifier - Use a FiiO amp inline with my headphones to improve the quality of the sound a little bit. I find the amp makes the surround sound effect work better with bass tones (gun shots, explosions etc).

Modmic - Not a well known solution to the headset problem but one I really like. Take any pair of decent headphones and add a mic to them directly with a magnetic attachment to the headphones. Solves the age old problem of rubbish mic combined with rubbish headphones sold overpriced to gamers.

Hmm, my headphone amp is an external D/A-convertor attached to the optical out of the onboard card. I suppose that's also rather rare. As for the mic, I clip a tie-mic to my headphones' cable. That addresses the same sort of problem.

$1,500 Fujitsu sheetfeed scanner. I use this at work. Fujitsu makes some really good scanners.
