Anyhow, a wife beater is a friggen Tank top undershirt. What is so hard to understand.

Its a NICKNAMe because it's the type of shirt you see all the Wife beating hicks on Cops wearing, if they're wearing a shirt at all, and it's not a ratty Tshirt with a nascar logo or a wrestler on it.

Picture Joe White Trash driving around in his pickup truck wearing one of those shirts... he just looks like he probably beats his wife. I really have no idea.
