Invest in a French Press. For extra bonus, get a grinder and buy only whole beans. ATOT knows coffee.

you want a good strong coffe? don't go to starbucks.
while their coffee SMELLS strong, it is quite the opposite.
Starbucks dark roasts their beans, which allows the oils to flow out of the bean. it make a rich, flavor, but not strong flavor and not strong caffeen-wise. You get a stronger coffee flavor (and cafeen concentration) from folgers in a cup.
how do i know? i used to work as a barista when i was younger.

In general, darker brews tend to have less caffeine, but Starbucks coffee is heavily caffeinated.
