Recently it's been getting hotter as summer is approaching and the ambient temperatures in my case has gone up from 27C to 32C. Now, I did some checking on my individual parts and I have 3 hard drives. I have an older 80GB and 250GB hard drive a new 750GB one I just bought. The 80GB one is at 47C, the 250GB is at 44C and the new 750GB one is at 42C. Now, I'm not really doing anything except for web browsing and watching a movie and these temperatures are measured using HD Tune.

I have an IBM IC35L090AW207 (80GB), Maxtor 6L250R0 (250GB), and Seagate ST3750330AS (750GB). I don't what temperatures are safe for a hard drive. Now, I'm not sure about these specific drives either and their standard operating temperatures.
Are these temperatures safe and do I need to buy any more cooling to keep them cooled?

Most desktop hard drives are rated to about 50c. Check the manufacture's product page for each model.

Yeah. My PC has a Samsung and a Seagate Barracuda. The Samsung's around 31C and the Seagate's around 48C ( I checked with Everest).
