What's a "safe" overclock zone for a 2.4b?

Okay, I'm finally ready to go to the next step and OC my processor. I am not going to do anything crazy (I heard people can get these to 3.2 ghz). I just want a little bit of a boost, maybe around 2.6 or 2.8. I would plan on doing it with MSI's fuzzy logic which came with my mobo, good idea? I'm assuming to OC, I would just adjust the FSB mutliplier? All info is greatly appreciated. Thanks

is that a SiS motherboard?

in that case ~ you wont get far enough to worry about vcore.

Well even with that board you should hit 2.6-2.8 easily. Give it a shot... for your case, just raise the FSB, you probably won't have to worry about RAM either.

MOst of those sis boards aren't very reliable at high fsb speeds but I think 160fsb is reasonable do 18X160 is 2.8ghz is extremely likely...

Safety is when you don't have to raise default vcore at all and the temps are within range of no thermal throttling.....Ie... 1.52-1.55v and max load temps less then 60c IMO....

On my GA-8PE667 I can do 2843MHz stably and ~3060MHz max, both at ~1.7V
