Whats a safe limit to bump a P4's voltage upto?

Specifically a 2.8GHz/533 on an Abit IC7 mobo

I have it on 1.6 right now ...

heh, depends what kinda cooling you got too man

even though i have no p4 experience, i think 1.8 is a pretty high number for a p4..

1.7v actual is considered the limit...anything after that, and you have dead northwoods.
personally, if i wanted mine to last more than a couple years, wouldnt go over 1.65v actual or so.

i'm hitting 3.3GHz with 2.8/533 at default voltages

If I bump the voltage upto 1.6, it runs at 3.48 stable (overnight with prime95 and memtest)

Think I'm gonna keep it 3.3GHz at default voltage and my Zalman cooler :)

Thanks guys!

I read a while ago that Intel doesn't recommend going above 1.75. I notice very little benefit to go above 1.7 anyway, unless you have water cooling or better.
