what's a "pie ate tah"?

i was just watching seinfeld, the "raincoats" episdoes and kramer goes to george's parents house for dinner and his mom is making "pie ate tah". i'm not sure how to spell it so i was wondering if anyone can help me out, thanks!
 
paella is a spanish dish...is rice, seafood and ofcourse spices.... its pretty good just a little hard to eat........rice and seafood in the same plate (its all cooked at the same time)...the shrimp, clams, mussles, oysters, lobster, etc ....they r all still with the shells on.....mostly.......but overall a good meal if you like seafood....and no it is not a pie like dish.....

it is kind of hard for me to explain the dish,......my mom used to make that dish at least twice a month. i grew up in the south coast of puerto rico...there was always fresh seafood available..
