ASUS PC PROBE shows my MB as currently 46c and my CPU as the late 30's, with my CPU cooler on a low RPM of ~900 (can go out to 2800 but that makes it noisy).

PC PRobe is having a shit because it thinks 46c is too high, but that surprises me as I'm sure they can go up to about 60c?

That's high. I run a bit over 100*F on a machine that's on 24/7/365

I am using four 80mm fans in front of the case, blowing in over the drives and into the main chamber. I have also, another 80mm fan in the side of the case, blowing right down on top of the OEM Intel HSF and my quad 6600.

There's a nice, steady stream of air exhausting out the back of the case with no additional help to suck it out; all the fans blow in.

What kind of ventilation do you have?

Our systems are *very*similar.
