there are billions of watches out there......not even sure where to start. any recommended brands? fossil? seiko? something moderately priced ~200 or less.

thanks! i wish watch shopping was as easy as shopping for computer hardware....but do people even write reviews for watches?

Huh? You'd be hard pressed to find a TAG watch for under $500!
Whoops, only read the "good" part.
I've got a couple of Seiko's but they aren't inexpensive either.

Yep, definitely great watches. I was hoping you would prove me wrong and respond with a place to find them for under $200! ;)

I like my Guess watches. Great looking for the money. Good warranty I think (as w/ Fossil).

If you look around a bit, you can find Festina watches for around $200. They're quite nice and you definitely don't see them as often as you see Tag, Fossil, etc.

You can find them under $500 online.

But I would go with a Fossil if you just want something that looks good.
