Whats a good website to learn about digital cameras? (Or help me choose a digital camera!)

I'm a camera newbie and i want to learn more! Suggestions would be appreciated, thanks!

Edit: Basically, i need something idiot proof that makes good images. I know almost nothing about cameras, and i want the camera to do everything for me 🙂 I'm thinking in maybe the 4 megapixel range. I have about $500 to spend (but i don't necessarily want spend that much if i can get a good value).

Oh and i also have the oppurtunity to buy nikon cameras at 40% off because i work at an authorized retail outlet. Can anyone recommend a nikon?

My sister has the Coolpix 4300. It's a good camera, but definitely not the best 4MP available.

The new 5400 also looks nice, but may be out of your price range once you add a decent memory card to it.

I would at least check out the Nikon Coolpix 4300, read reviews here (choose the megapixel in the upper left).
