what's a good webcam for near dark?

I'm setting up a small computer (based off that Syntax integrated Via proc mobo that was free from tigerdirect a while back) for use in the nursery as a music player and baby monitor. I've got a mic I can hook up to listen and want a camera for video (streamed over the home network) as well. What's a good but cheap webcam to use for this? I need something that can give SOME image in near dark (just a nitelight). I'm not looking for military grade night vision nor theater quality video, just enough so we can look in on baby at night. If there's something out there cheap that does actual infrared imaging that would be great; otherwise a normal webcam that can make out dark images will do.

The only cam that I can think of that would work over a large diff in lighting conditions, would be one of the Sony HandyCams w/ "NightShot". You could use it as a WebCam via the firewire port. I kinda doubt you want to spend that kind of $$$ though. Radio Shack sells some home security cams that have IR Vision and a REAL iris , but you'd need to get the control unit for it and a NTSC video capture card for the PC.

I found some IR webcams on ebay, so I got one (it'll be about $20 shipped) Has 6 IR leds built in, plus microphone. I'll see how it works...
