Spare the joke responses about knocking off a bank or pimping myself out. Looking for some good ideas for a part time job to make some extra $$$ for the place that I'm going to be buying. I live in the Auburn Hills area north of Detroit. What would be a good part time job to get? Id like to do some computer work for $, but I don't know where to look outside of CompUSA or BB, both of which pay nothing.

Ideas?

lots of people deliver pizzas for extra $$. I'm serious. or you get into hot dealing and reselling on ebay but it takes a lot of time & research. bartending can be good for a lot of money if you have skills.

Check your local real estate offices. Real estate is almost always a money maker and you don't have to be a realtor to make money.

If you've got a new home builder in the area, putting in a tract, see if they need somebody on Saturdays to hand out the flyers & answer questions. You could put in 4 hours or so and collect a few bucks in your pocket.

If you really wanna go out on a limb, you could ask UPS/FedEx how their "Saturday" routes look & see if they're interested in a driver or, heck even a loader. Saturdays are becoming more popular and the regular employees for those companies DO NOT want to work them. I'm certain you'd make good money there!

Here's one if you know someone in Japan: Get someone to go to the official Jump Store and by as much of the popular anime merchandise (like Naruto), have em ship to you, and sell it to us North Americans on eBay. Huge profit. And if anyone uses my idea, make sure to get me in on it. I'm tired of people using my ideas to profit :(
