Sorry for the weird request. But my washing machine my grandmother used (she gave it to me for college) just died and it's not going to be worth it to fix it. So, I wanted to know if anyone out there had any suggestions on a good washing machine for around $300 or so? I'm still in college, so I don't need anything special, however, I would like to keep it for a while. As far as features go, something simple is fine. If you have some suggestions or sites I can look at I would appreciate it. Thanks.

Get a girlfriend/boyfriend & make them do it. Besides, then you can get some AND get your clothing washed.

j/k I love the x-files btw Do ya really need one for college though? Check out whirlpool.com or something They have one like for $259, one for $289, and one for $309 These are MSRPs though, so you could probably find 'em cheaper. I don't know much about washing machines, but I take it there's not *much* difference between them. Well, since they're huge, heavy things, you should check out appliance stores...you wouldn't want to pay shipping for one of those things... Hope this sort of helps

The washer can also act as a giant vibrator which can be the source of great fun.
