What's a good treatment for Anxiety Disorder/PTSD?

My teenaged son just got diagnosed with this. I just assumed he was a normally abnormal teenager.

They want to give him drugs but all of the drugs they've come up with are things he's already had bad (life-threatening) reactions to.

Any suggestions? I know most of you are nicely relaxed, happy campers but one or two of you may have had some experience with this. Thankx.

What happened to him? PTSD usually happens after a traumatic experience (duh). 😛
School stuff. He's had a lot of medical problems and the kids used to make fun of him, beat him up, etc. It's mainly the etc. that's coming out in therapy. School kids can be really horrible.

Kids can be the cruelest creatures alive.
