I was looking at pbwiki and that looks alright.

I couldn't find many guides online though, so I want ATOT's opinion/advice/etc.

MediaWiki is what Wikipedia uses

If this is going to be a public wiki that might be useful to people, you could get it hosted at Wikia for free

PBwiki (now PBworks) is FANTASTIC! MediaWiki is dog slow unless you optimize it and have a really fast machine. On my virtual host it was virtually unusable. I'm running a dozen or so Wikis on PBworks and I really, really love it

Basically I'm going to be setting this up at work to document certain processes and to create an orientation section for incoming hirees.

I'm not exactly sure what I'm looking for. I want to find something where what I see is what I get. Is there something like a Dreamweaver equivalent for making wiki's?

What are its terms of use? I ended up reading about some kind of split in the TWiki community so I'm not sure if this is still *free* for my purposes.
