What's a good test for stability?

I installed a new heatsink on my GeForce2 card and wanted to test stability over a long duration. What's a good program/method to do this? I've tried to use the demo mode on 3DMark pro, but after a couple of hours I come back to the computer and it's just at the desktop so I have no clue how long it took or anything. Just so you know, I'm running Windows 2000.

At least one of the newer games should have some sort of continuous run function, but I don't know. The newest that I know of is Quake2 with 3Fingers' Massive1 and Crusher demos that you can find here.

test 3dMark2000 @ 1600x1200x32 (or 1280x1024x32 if you have a 32MB), and check the box in demo mode that says "loop", q3 demo loop from the Upset Chaps Q3 guide, Evolva bumpmapping benchmark, Unreal Tournament (from console - timedemo 1<enter>start cityintro<enter>), Merecedes Benz Truck Racing is VERY stressful, but I'm not sure about looping functions...
