"its just a cool thing to have" is the most retarded reason I've ever heard to spend 60 bucks.

Don't waste your money.

That's true if you spend all your time in the office, but it's easy to justify if you hike. You could get stranded and have to kill small animals to eat.

In that price range I would consider either Benchmade or Spyderco... both are good values and offer a lot for the money.

I hate to say it, but you might try fleabay or some of the many places online...

http://www.newgraham.com/ has a very good reputation.

Thats a neat looking little knife. It looks a little unsafe in the closed position, how tight and secure is it like that?
Also, how fast is the one handed opening?

i actually use my knives quite a bit, and for a lot more than just opening packages

i have a small gerber with serrated blade that i use a lot at work for random cutting tasks
i have a buck pocket knife in my car that i end up using randomly a couple times a month

i've been carrying a tiny zippo knife with me for years, but its came up too short on several occasions, plus its pretty banged up

i hunt, i fish, i camp, i travel (auto)
<100 bucks isn't money to "waste" on a knife
i've spent more on a ping pong paddle
i've spent ten times as much on a pool cue

thanks for caring though

I've had a CRKT KISS on my keychain for several years now, great product. Stays sharp, has never opened on its own, and the blade isn't sharp when closed.

I've never thought of removing the clip, that's actually a good idea. I have it, my keys, and a Streamlight minilight on my keychain. I use the knife constantly.

A+ product.

I bet this guy says that everyday of his life

For those of us that leave our cubicals and computers, knives are essential daily tools. I've used my knives countless times -- from the obvious uses in camping/hiking/fishing, to having to make emergency car repairs on the road, and even some first-aid.

Benchmade, Spyderco, Kershaw folders are good. Many styles and lengths to choose from. I'd say a Kershaw Leek is the perfect size, function for me.

You'll need to replace the clip with a washer.

I second that, I've ordered at least 40+ knives from them and never had a problem or a late delivery. If you call and ask they will check the knife before it's sent to make sure nothings wrong with it.
