I have 2 sets of Aura Aspect 30 speakers, what's a good subwoofer to complement them? Do i need to take into consideration the frequency crossover stuff??

Altec Lansing ACS-251 40w sub is very nice. I used one of these in college with some Yamaha computer speakers and it was great.

Specs:

Power: 40watts
Driver: 1x6.5" Long Throw Woofer
Freq. Response: 35Hz to 250kHz

Klipsch, makers of our much beloved ProMedia's, make subs... they're not cheap though.

The JBL Sub you linked to is only 20watts your Aura Aspect 30s are 30watts. Given you have 2 sets your front and rear speakers will completely overpower this JBL sub.
