i am looking for a good digital camera....what's a good one?
no more than $200
i'd like to be able to store at least a hundred pics on it at a time
preview ability on an LCD and/or video recording ability would be nice, but not needed
don't know what else i should look for in a digital camera
any suggestions are welcome

You have tons of selections there...

Go to Imaging-Resource and look around to see if there's anyone you like...

Generally, Canon, Kodak, Fuji ones are quite good... Canon ones tend to be smaller in size, but more expensive... Stay away from HP ones though, I have one and the quality is not that good compared to the others...

what i am surprised to see is that all these cameras look pretty much the same. i would have thought that you'd be getting fancier and colorful cameras by now (just like the PCs)

Yeah, compare to other cameras with the same resolution and features, I find that Canon cameras are a little bit more expensive... They I also think their cameras are usually smaller in size and a little more stylish... You get what you paid for I guess...

Try going through the Hot Deals forum... you might be able to find the Canon A40 within your price range... ;)

I have a way to possibly get the Canon A40 for $20-$40 less than retail, which would put it just slightly over $200. PM if you want the scoop.
