Whats a good sound capture program? Anyone program that can remove the hiss from tapes?

Audacity is decent and it's free. It has a feature to remove hiss, but I haven't used it before.

I love this program for its ease of use unlike many others I've tried but the hiss removal I tried and I get a slight warp and sound becomes lot more heavier
