what's a good software for batch reducing

the size of my pics?

i have several months worth of pics from my digicam that i want to store on my online album - the problem is that a lot of them are ~1-1.5 mb each.

i'd like to find a proggie that will batch convert them to ~250kb or so.

Ifarnview would work well. So would Faststone Image viewer.

Imagemagick is a group of command-line tools to work with images.

My choice is http://www.xnview.com/ XnView is great for me, while NConvert is specifically for batch conversions.

i tried fasstone last night and it worked nicely.. i have more so i'll give NConvert a try.
