cant go wrong with WHT.

yeah, but i can't seem to find many offers there 🙁 all that were posted within the last month are either sold or out of my price range..

holy cow, i had no idea you could buy vBulletin licenses........what's the usual price range on these? also, how do you know if they're legit?

edit: oh 🙁

i'm pretty new to it, too.. but as far as i know, on WHT the mods can help you verify the seller's license before the transaction occurs. i just wish there were more offers on WHT 🙁

pricerange for leased seems to be from $40-$70 depending on the time left on the license.
owned license, about $80-120

Free as in beer and speech.

so r the bugs that come w/ it.

Okay..I haven't really been looking for bugs...what is such a problem that makes vB worth the $ premium?

There are better free forum alternatives than phpBB, they are listed here.

So far I have been impressed with MyBB, they recently had some security patches/updates which I still need to upgrade 🙂
