I took Kaplan for the Stuyvesant test. Raised my score 200 points. Very good course. Boring but very good cause it gets you in.

The Princeton Review guarantees an increase of 100pts or your money back. The catch is, you have to do all the homework and your teacher has to verify it.

I went up 130pts. It was a really fun class too...I miss that sorta atmosphere:) I had a really cool teacher too...Tom something or other:) He always went off topic and talked about his dreams of being an olympian:)

Buy the College Board's official "10 Real SATs" book (for the SAT I). I'm actually opposed to blowing $700 on SAT prep since SAT isn't all about smarts but rather, how to outsmart the SAT itself. (yeah... you learn that in Princeton Review... my friend told me all about her SAT prep course...) You just need to practice, practice, practice (that's why you get the "10 Real SATs" book. If you finish it, then it'll be like you took the SAT 10 times)...

As a former Ivy West instructor, I can tell you that their program is excellent.

get the barrons book, i dont know it was the one i used. Other than that, relax, nothing on the test can hurt you and drink some soda before you take it since its at 8am and i almost fell asleep. I did really well. Also a thing i did for a while was this, i actually read a lot, but there are words you see that you kinda know the meaning for and you can get it from context. Well if you are preparing for the SAT actually look those words up, i guarantee that will help you

bah, don't take any classes, i blew a grand on the stupid princeton review course in which i could've picked up all their tricks in their book for 20 bucks....the trick is to study that, and just keep practicing it over and over again..you'll do better, guaranteed =o)
