I can't wait for neverwinters Night2 to come out. I never picked up the first one because I'm not into the whole henchmen concept, seems like the antithesis of a party.

You don't have to get a henchman, I've played the game through without one several times. Also you get more XP without a henchman / Familiar / Summoned Creature.

EDIT: I also can't wait for Neverwinter Nights 2.

What ever you do stay, far far away from Star Wars Galaxies.

The Devs really sucked the wookie on that one.

I just bought Titan Quest today. Since blizzard is not in a hurry to make a Diablo 3, this game is the next best thing. It's so similar it may as well be D3.

So far it's a great game but I'm only a little bit into it.

Going solo is the real antithesis of having a party, lol.

How are the 3rd edition rules? Last time I played D&D it was with 2nd edition rules.

If you enjoyed Diablo II and playing solo, you will hate WoW. You will never get great items without major time investment.

Titan Quest isn't bad.

3rd Edition really really blows. If you liked 2nd edition you will look at 3rd and say "Ok you people just lost another customer". If you thought 2nd edition was too complex you may like 3rd.

As does the concept of anything involving a computer, that is past the organizing stage. (Yet lanparties somehow managed to survive). I just got back from a party, and I can tell you, there wasn't computer one in use. Although I have no knoweledge of Neverwinter beyond the promo posters from waaaayyyy back when it was like brand new, is it good?

Edit: This post was worded horribly, but I'm way to tired to fix it.

To the OP, I would wait for Stargate Worlds (official wiki) if you are any kind of Stargate fan it will be AWESOME, and if not, it should still provide hours of really engaging gameplay.

I was fine with 2nd edition rules. was wondering why they made 3rd edition rules for a half a second when I figured it was probably for money. As far as parties go, I was referring to adventuring parties, as in Baldurs Gate where the member of the party are your friends rather than henchmen. I'm not into the whole, "You there, lackey, go fetch me that!".
